A raging fire threatens to consume neighborhoods in the La Tuna Canyon as a fire that was seemingly contained grew to rage over 2,000 acres. Aided by the continuous warm weather and a windy day, the fire spread with a wild hunger consuming the hills surrounding the Sunland-Tujunga area of California. Many residents have been forced to evacuate the area including those living in the foothill neighborhoods in Burbank. Helicopters make their rounds over the fire releasing gallons of water trying to keep the fires contained before they reach the various homes in the area. The smoke lingers in the air while ash reaches farther making its way over to the surrounding areas.
